Rockliff and Ablett locks at 700k each?

I was looking at Rockliff as one of my first locks but now that Beams, Rich and Christenson are back in the side surely he wont be as dominant? What are your thoughts on this because im now unsure of how good a pick he will be and for 700k I want to be sure.

The question is asked every year about Ablett and if he is getting old and if his young team mates will start stealing possessions off him? again I want to be certain if he is going to be 700k.

I just want to know what your guys thoughts are?

Ablett is locked every year until he retires. Set and forget

Not starting Rocky at this stage - will be an upgrade target, and gives me time to see if Beams, Rich and Christo impact his scoring

The debate on whether Ablett is worth it surfaces every year and is interesting reading. Ablett is now 30 and is at the age where injuries can take longer to get over,
With the acquisition of Hallihan and continued development of Bennell, O'Meara and Prestia will Ablett spend more time forward. This may not effect his scoring as we know how accurate he is with goal kicking and will be great at the feet of Dixon and Lynch.
As usual a hard decision but will probably go with Gaz and perma capt if I do.
Rockliff on the other hand I have reservations as with the arrival of Beams and Christensen and with Rich coming back there will be more competition for points in Brisbanes midfield.
I expect Rockliffs price to go down and be an upgrade target later.

Ablett's injury is taking longer to recover from, I think he would be a risk, but one which I will take. Much more riskier to leave him out.

Rocky an upgrade target.

I think Gazza has to be a lock due to his injury game.

Rocky is always better 2nd half of the year though.

Yeh Rocky may have to be an upgrade, would like to see how he goes with Beams Redden and Rich all up and running. I still expect him to score well, he's a tackling machine but would expect a small price drop early, fingers crossed.

If Gazza has a pre season he's an automatic selection and especially if he is priced under 700k. others will depend on price and DPP etc. :)

As an afterthought, I'd be more interested in how Dayne Beams is going to perform, he could end up a POD. And what a POD he'd make. ;)
