It was a season of two halves for Polec, from Rounds 1-10 he averaged 23.6 disposals and 87.4 fantasy points but from that point on he only averaged 17.1 disposals and just 62.8 DT. After his brilliant start, there were periods where he simply looked disinterested and unwilling to make an effort to impact games. There were at least some good signs in the finals where he kicked goals in each of the games while registering season-highs for tackles. Where he goes from here is unknown, Port would have noted the weaknesses in his game but it's a matter of if he can take that on board and make improvements. As a midpricer he poses a fair amount of risk, I think the best case scenario would be a 15 point price rise but you'd want an average of 95 odd to be really happy.

Pros - Has shown he can do better than what he's priced at, goalkicker

Cons - Big difference between his best and worst, poor tackle numbers, price

pretty sure he copped a tag for that 32 (Port doing poorly didn't help his cause though)
but a no for me, too expensive (for his output) and too inconsistent too

He got tagged by Cross in Round 11 for his 38, and I guess got similar treatment again in Round 18 against Melbourne for an unsubbed 32. His 32 against Gold Coast was just a crap game.
