imo both Reid and Brown will take half the season to get going into real form because they've missed so much football.

Swan is just a massive wildcard.

Reid played at the end of the season though and will get a full pre season.
Brown may take a little longer to get going but they have a pretty good start to the season so will get wins on the board either way.

Not expecting Swan to set the world on fire but his output will be much better than this year and he's a star weather he plays mid or forward.

I just don't think there is gonna be this massive drop off that a lot of people expect. They will be there abouts IMO

From what I've read Reid is on a heavily managed program this preseason so it seems unlikely he'll be 100% conditioned once he comes back

I don't think Collingwood will drop off much ever because they get a piss easy draw every year and barely have to travel ever. A lot of experience has been replaced by much younger players.

Disagree. I think if they can keep their important players healthy they will be around the mark.
An injury free Swan and Reid will make a huge difference

Mate... Swan is on the wrong side of 30 and has lost interest. He wont make any difference to last year. Reid maybe. But will not make the 8.. Not a chance in the world...

Swan is still a gun and when fit will make a huge difference.
Reid and Nathan Brown return to their defence which is massive.
How many games do you think they will win?

Was yes for sure.. I dont know about still but. I reckon anywhere from 9-11 would be around the mark for them.

Memphistopheles

I'll give this an early crack. This is the season I see Buckley finally getting sacked. Although I hope the Pies keep him on :P

GWS to rise up the ladder a bit as well Gold Coast.

Bit of a shock with no Hawthorn in the Grand Final but I think this year was their last hurrah. I also think Geelong have fixed their main deficiencies and will be back in the Top 4 again (sigh - so much for bottoming out).

Sadly my team (the Eagles) won't make the finals though I'd love to be proven wrong on this count.

9-11 wins? Then why did you find it so outrageous that I gave them 12? Haha

After going through the fixture

1. Hawks
2. Swans
3. Freo
4. Port
5. North
6. Suns
7. Tiges
8. Cats
9. Eagles
10. Crows
11. Lions
12. GWS
13. Pies
14. Dons
15. Blues
16. Dogs
17. Dees
18. Saints
Swap Dons with Eagles, and I'd keep the rest pretty much the same from what I had here. Maybe Cats getting to 6th, Suns/Tiges both moving down a spot each.

No chance of Eagles finishing 14th. Crows and Essendon will probz finish above us. But we won't be lower than 11th. A lot better than the other sides below that...

Jukes

Eagles finished 13th and 9th the last two seasons, and for this season they won't have Mackenzie, Glass, Cox, and will be missing Darling for the first chunk, and haven't brought in anybody who will make an immediate impact.

11th would be considered a huge win for them this season I reckon.

Glass and Cox barely played last season,we have perfectly good replacements for Darling only one really hurts is Ezy.
