Vinny

I don't think they will do that well next year but sadly they'll be back up there in no time. There is plenty of gun kids that are coming alone. But lets hope I am wrong and they suck forever.

If Collingwood are going to push for finals they need Grundy to take the next step and for their back 6 to stay healthy. They still have a pretty good midfield lead by Pendles. Eventually they ran out of key position defenders and were getting smashed out of the middle. A ruck that can give them first use while also putting pressure on when the ball comes to ground will be invaluable to them.

I would like to see them fail miserably

Mailman the 2nd

They have a lack of Forward options as well. Elliot will be stronger no doubt, Cloke is always volatile there's no point banking on him, Jesse White just turned into Lynch 2.0.

Grundy and Witts still have a lot of polishing to do.

Yeah I agree, they have some excellent youth coming through, I see them finishing around 10th-12th in 2015 but will be right back in contention come 2016/2017 if Bucks can put it together..
Adams, Broomhead, Crisp, Elliot, Fasolo, Freeman, Frost, Grundy, Kennedy, Langdon, Karnezis, Sharenberg, Seedsman, Keefe, Thomas and Williams are all very young and looks like a likely group IMO...then chuck in Moore and pick 5

Have some strong more mature players to hold them in good steed in the meantime like Cloke, Brown, Goldsack, Greenwood, Caffa, Pendles, Reid, Sidebottom, Swan, Toovey, Varoce and Young

Mat0369

The thing with Collignwood is they have mids and smalls that can hit the scoreboard. If they can get the back 6 fit and concede around 80 points per game they should be in contention most weeks with Cloke as the only real tall target.

Wow what an original insult calling a 22 year old kid playing in a premiership level side medicore.

Richard Hadley was a superstar, right? A premiership in just his 4th game, at the age of 19 means he must be a special player. Maybe you would have won the flag if Sam Reid was any good.

You know who would be a good forward option? Ben Reid!

Yes, Richard Hadley was a very good player for his age, suffering from crippling chronic pelvic and abdominal injuries which is why he played in a side that had already won back to back flags.

You know who else is a young player who is suffering constant injury? Ben Reid!

SydneyRox

i have the pies down for 11 wins with about 3 50/50 on top of that, so they are a good chance to make finals

Mr.Craig

Let's face it, if anyone reckons they know for certain who will finish 7th-12th they're having a laugh.

Mat0369

Next thing you know Tomahawk injures his back and is out for the year. Cats finish bottom 4

Why does everyone have Collingwood so low?

From 2014...

Out: Ball, Beams, Lumumba... Maxwell
In: Greenwood, Crisp, Varcoe... Reid, Brown, Freeman

Players who might drop off due to age: Swan (doubt it)
Players who should improve due to natural improvement: Langdon, Thomas, Adams, Frost, Witts, Grundy, Broomhead, Williams

Because they were crap this year, and they will be crap again next year.,..

Greenwood has played one good year. So no certainty he can back it  up.
Varcoe hasn't played more then 3 good games in 3 years.
Crisp hasn't proven shower...

And lost your 2nd and 4th(ish) best midfielder. And 2 half decent defenders.

I dare say they won't be setting anything on fire.

They have been on a downward spiral for a while..... They won't improve any time soon..

Especially with bucks at the helm.
