Season 1 he and his son save Rick, he keeps radioing him through season 1 since they were supposed to meet up. I can't remember which season it is, but when Rick goes searching for ammo they run into him in the houses and he has gone bat ish crazy since his son died. He has set up a whole heap of traps and stuff and he is also the guy from the first ep of the season post credits

season 5 mid season finale- the cope pleads/asks why they cant all stay there..

Apparently Chandler Riggs wasn't in the trailer because he was visiting his girlfriend that day. They original had planned on shooting the trailer a week later but Norman Reedus had a comic convention the next day and they wanted Daryl more than Carl.
