This is embarrassing. For a country that calls itself the best in the world, to be so comprehensively outplayed is ridiculous. A lot of credit to Pakistan, they have played the conditions fantastically, and gotten contributions from everyone maybe bar hafeez, who has still bowled alright.

We actually play our batting line-up in reverse order, that is why Maxwell is at 3.

In all Test cricket, only eight times has the winning runs margin been greater than 400. I rather fancy number nine is fast approaching.

Has any one had a relook at the Maxwell decision.  Know it was overturned because hawkeye said so and that is where I have a problem with technology.  Fair enough he was back on his stumps but was hit on the thigh above the knee roll and so the bounce and trajectory is subjective,  We will now have umpires giving LBW decisions when the ball hits the thigh.

Anyway playing back to spinners is always asking for trouble.  Where is the down the wicket to meet the ball on the full before it has a chance to spin whether a defensive shot or attacking shot, We were always taught to try and get to the pitch of the ball from spinners on the full. Maybe one day and 20/20 have changed with playing back but it is not rocket science.
