So gives Warner 24 hours to butter up for 20/20... Nice :/. Which Einstein planned that schedule out!

Haha yep, if I was paid 4-mill a year to smash a ball around an oval I certainly wouldn't complain :P

Send Boyce over for O'Keefe not the worst option on the pictures that have been prepared.

You can be rest assured that everyone has kept their eye on what is happening here and will be preparing dry pitches to blunt Johnson and we have no quality spinner to take advantage,  They could not do this previously as if they prepared a green top McGrath and co went beserk and if they prepared dry pitches Warne was there. So basically we urgently need a Warne and Boyce maybe the answer.
Argh two many grammatical errors. Hurts my eyes :P

Irony: Calling out grammatical errors while making grammatical error yourself  ;)
Did the Badger just get Badgered?! :o
Have a feeling it may have been intentional lads. The badger doesn't make mistakes
Correct RB. There were two mistakes, so thought I would make a joke using word play. Clearly went over BP's head :P

I'm sorry. I was too busy reading Hansard at Parliament to notice  :P

AHah yeah.. he won't be complaining... But im more worried about him under performing because of exhaustion.. And when they ask why hes not performing.. They can take a look at his hectic schedule....

Then again, he is a machine so will probz still smash em in the 20/20s. *touch wood.

we lost the toss again  ::) we're bowling

plays a big part

QuoteTwo changes for Australia. Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc come in for Alex Doolan and Steve O'Keefe. A third seamer and an allrounder who bowls offspin. Interesting.

Maxy batting at 3  :o  dunno bout that

Mailman the 2nd

I'm pretty sure Steve Smith will bat at 3, Maxwell will bat at 5. I'm not sure about either of those changes. O'Keefe didn't look that threatening last game but the conditions would favour him over Starc you'd have thought. I guess the addition of Maxwell somewhat offsets that, but still. I'm not convinced that Maxwell is a test player, sure he can be explosive but in conditions if he's batting at 5, if he comes in at 3/60 or something we need someone who can grind out a decent score, not score 30 off 40 balls then get out. I would have stuck with Doolan, and gone in unchanged.

Starc good, Maxwell bad.
Considering how well our current batsmen play spin, I'm not 100% against Maxwell playing in this test. Could work out. However, I hope that if he performs well, it doesn't mean he keeps his spot, because against teams like SA or England there is no way he should be playing.

Mailman the 2nd

I'm happy with Smith playing at number 3 if he can stay in for more than Doolan could.

henry

Pakistan $3.60 to win the test, utter madness. Get on it.

Gonna defend my boy Maxi.

This is his chance.

Regardless of where he bats, if he puts together a good innings, it'll do him and the team some good. Yes, Pakistan aren't South Africa, England or India (the better nations) but it's a start.

Plus, I do think him being a batting allrounder who can bowl spin is quite handy.

I think Smiddy should bat 3 though, Maxy at 5 is probably about right.

Disappointed O'Keefe got dropped.

Because the opinions of those on an AFL forum influence the result of this cricket match haha

There's no chance Maxwell will bat at 3. Clarke raised the posibility of Smith batting there the other day, so that's what will happen. Maxwell will bat at 5.
