Trent Dumont

if this is true thats a huge shame as Im pretty sure he would have been a very good chance of cracking into our squad next year. This makes the loss of greenwood hurt now.
Have been hearing/reading that he is supposed to be the Greenwood replacement.

i think he would be one of the front runners. However im not sure if higgins will play in the mids and basti was getting the vest in the finals. he would be close though.

Saw that too, feel like its a bit of a throw-away line though to motivate the young players. I fully expect Basti to step into that role again.

Yeah I thought Bastinac was going to be the replacement regardless but still I've heard good things about Dumont. Bit stupid of him really. :-\

I mean, I already thought Basti was best 22 so figured that he'd still be in the side and it would then allow Dumont in.

basti got pushed to the green vest so was a little fringe. Greenwood leaving should secure his spot and than dummont was supposed to be right on the fringe to play.

meow meow

North Melbourne's best 22

Out: Greenwood
In: Higgins, Waite, Dumont

I don't think so. Not even Carlton cheat that much.

still think

Out: Greenwood, Dummont
In: Higgins, Waite, 25

is a small win for this offseason.

Vinny

Haha he means how can one person leave your best 22  and 3 come in but there only be space for Basti. :P

Norf have cut 8 players.

Liam Anthony, Taylor Hine, Robin Nahas, Mitch Wilkins, Tom Curran, Cameron Delaney and rookies Tim McGenniss and Max Warren have all been shown the door.

Kieran Harper has been retained.

Kayne Turner and Joel Tippett will be elevated.

Oh and they intend to re-draft Cameron Delaney as a rookie.

Nahas is an interesting one
Yeah looked pretty good in the 7 or 8 games he played this year but the emergence of Turner was pretty much the writing on the wall for him.

Others all fair enough. Curran unlucky with injuries

Bill Manspeaker

maybe Tom Curran will join the Saints to further confuse some people
