What the protocol now? Do we go to a vote or?

Not sure
But probably need to hear from the rest of the coaches first I guess

Wait for Pickerman first.

Thought this trade getting through wouldn't be a problem but ok here's my thoughts...

Danger IMO has a better chance of keeping DPP over Hanley, is one year younger, both will ave roughly the same but Danger plays for the team I follow......
I don't rate Sidebottom that's just my opinion but I think Crouch will be abserloute star plus he is 3 years younger then Sidebum hence why I was happy to give up Brown for shenton as I have plenty of Fwd back ups and last time I checked a 200cm key fwd isn't really goin to set the DT competition on fire, he might have the talent to be a good SC scorer but yeah doesn't interest me at all keeping him in DT

So we give what will prolly be 2mids each who IMO will ave roughly the same but my guys are a combined 4 yrs younger so that's why Brown was added to even it out....
Hope this makes sense :)

Think most people are happy with that one now ..its the other trade that needs work

picker_man

Oh the Lewis one ok I'll chuck my reasoning for that trade up now ;)

S.Docherty + D.Rich + M.Golby + Nat 28
For
J.Lewis + Nat 33 + C.Moller + Nat 40

I needed a gun mid and with Lewis being a top 5 ave player I knew he wouldn't come cheap

First IMO rich is a DT spud will be 25 next year, coming off a seriouse injury and has never ave more then 85 as a mid.... Anyone thinking he would be a starter in my team is wrong so I more then happy to get pick 33 and put a new youngen in the team for him

Golby - at 23 he can only play 12 games in a Brisbane lions team who fielding young players.... That's a worry and is obviously not going to make my back line at an ave of 60, he would need a big turn around from this year to become relevant IMO, C.Moller is more then fair for him, I have lil ruck stocks so I wanted a young guy I RATE. He may not be a household name but it's rare when a 20 yr old ruck is, I have more faith Moller will make my team then Golby ever will

This is my chance 2 get rid of IMO 2guys that are spuds and bring in a young ruck I rate for the future and be able to pick someone young with picks 33 & 40 still & I'm going for the premiership so to add Lewis to midfield is huge!! He will play instead prolly Cooney or Mzungu so it's like a 25 points per game gain for me in the Mids and give me a 2nd captain option which I needed!! Yeah Docherty is a loss but I only drafted him cause I was talking trades with someone and they wanted the deal to include either Docherty or Brodie Smith they weren't getting Smith so I grabbed Docherty then the trade fell through cause I wanted a mid and they wouldn't give one up so I took the next best deal and I seriously have no problems with this trade and am more then happy with it and I believe Ele was too, he rates Rich and Golby and obviously some others do but I certainly don't so I don't want em lol

elephants

Football Factory

I maintain my original stance on this one which is I'm happy for it to pass but I still think it's slightly to much to give for Lewis who's 28 and a guy who hasn't even looked like getting a game for Freo.

Take out Nat 28 and 40 and the trade is a draw. Keep them in and no-one really loses as they are getting players they need but there is a winner of the trade in my opinion.

Looking at just the numbers I think PM is overpaying, especially when you throw in the 12 place pick upgrade?

I think you could argue that Docherty + Rich  for Lewis and N33 is close to even, maybe, but add the rest on and it stacks it clearly in Ele favour.

Lewis is elite. He's a top 5 midfielder. I'm not giving him + middle range pick up for a midfielder coming off a serious injury who probably won't ever be elite in DT and a young defender who still is quite unproven at AFL level despite putting together a solid season.

Golby isn't even best 22 at the Lions so no idea why everyone is up in arms about him.

Football Factory

Don't want to have to do this but its the only trade in question at the moment

Ele, Picker ... Looks like your going to have to change the trade a little to get it done. Have had some messages and posts regarding the fact that the trade is a little unfair.

elephants

Well this has put me in a pretty awkward position...

I understand ele and this is the shower part about being a mod. If you guys could just tweak it a little it would help, then we can move on  :)

Probably best to say how they need to tweak it mate - who needs to give more/less etc

Football Factory

Well according to the coaches Ele needs to give more or Picker needs to give less .. up to them how they get the trade done.
