I don't expect anyone to pick today if they cant, have a great day.

I'll say  :o :D what a weekend! Of all the grandfinals I've seen that the Hawks have been in, going to that one and watching it live was like I was dreaming. Norm Hodge for pm! :P We went to Glenferrie Oval to celebrate with the team and saw some fireworks when the streamers were launched into a gale and blew over the train wires and exploded as I had predicted half an hour earlier. Some of the players looked hammered still and Smitty got off the bus with a beer in his hand lol Only a few spoke and we chanted Spangher til he got on the mic with the roughest voice you've ever heard, he musta partied hard! I don't think I'll forget that weekend in a hurry, WOW!

I've got the week off guys so if anyone wants to send their picks forward, then feel free to sling me a PM to keep the draft moving! Completely up to you, just an offer :)

This draft is going terribly slow, after October 4 the skip rule will be enforced.

Hm...

RG, WHEREVER COULD YOU BE! :p

Grannyboy

He gets 24 hours from October 4th so we have to wait til 5th to skip him.
PLEASE NOTE THE 24 HOUR SKIP RULE WILL BE ENFORCED AFTER THIS DATE.

Even with the pickers delay he must've known he wasn't far off. Very strange...

Roswell can pick 10pm Saturday night, 12am Melbourne time. Give him the day of the official start of the draft and then we can get on with the show.

Well that's great for us

Thing is I know who RG is picking because he told us on chat.
Do we just pick that player for him?

Interesting, I would really like to see or hear from Rgriff just so we know he's still about. When did he tell you? I suppose picking for him would be better than skipping him, I'll speak to FF. I just hope he's back before we get to him next round.

I asked him and he told us a couple of days before the Grand Final.
Thing is the player he wants is the one we would take with our pick as he was number 1 on our list and if he is skipped I really don`t feel comfortable taking the player knowing RG wants to pick him.But if we don`t take him someone else most certainly will.

T Dog

Rather than you worry Westy..I 'll take that player...always trying to help.. ;D

Grannyboy

It's been nearly 2 weeks since we've heard from him and he should be aware the draft was starting today, so he should be aware he can be skipped from today. We can continue under the 'rule' that picks can be left with other coaches and he appears to have at least told someone of his intended pick. So if you want to tell us who it and pick for him that would be ok for this round but any future rounds would need to be picked by him.
We don't want teams to suffer as a result of coaches missing picks but it doesn't help the rest of us with interest levels and posts dropping off then other coaches go missing (pm, rg).
So I think we should pick for him now and continue the draft. We will look at replacing rg and possibly having a third party picking for him if he hasn't turned up by his next pick.

Yeah good call GB ^

The player that RG wants is an absolute no brainer and missing out on him would be extremely damaging Imo. Lets take his pick and get rolling!
