Profile

Jesse White, Taylor Adams and Patrick Karnezis were the three big off season signings for Collingwood but Karnezis was the only one to not make an impact in season 2014. He ended up spending his time in the VFL where he played 13 games and finished 8th in the league for goalkicking. Patrick is widely considered to be a fantasy spud (and rightfully so given his record) and a bit of a spud in general but with some of the activity going on at Collingwood he may get an opportunity to try and cement a senior spot. When he was the recruited the Pies were talking up the potential for him to develop as a midfielder and he'd need to do that because as a tall forward he has Cloke, White and maybe Goldsack to compete with. Worth keeping half an eye on.

Pros - Reasonable VFL performances

Cons - Only 2 career scores over 70, yet to debut

Prediction - 55-60

Spinking

Have heard that the Pies like the idea of another decent sized midfielder to compliment Pendles, and I assume that is what they were looking for in Karny. Agree that he might get more of a chance with some of the offseason movements, but don't think he will produce scores worth considering any time soon.

pommyadam

is he the one next in line when/if Beamer moves up to brisbane?

Interesting thought.
Will monitor loosely in pre-season.

Ricochet

Yeh he'll have to be a wait and see. Was highly rated when Pies brought him over but got injured at the wrong times and never got in. Worth considering if cheap and if he can secure a spot

Nails

Karnezis will be 2015's new premo. Absolute lock if named rd1.

Nosaj

Was injured and niggles all year yet still dominated the VFL. A lock if named round 1

stew42

Not entirel sure if he'll be named Rnd 1 with Varcoe, Greenwood in there...
