My application wasn't really an application so I'll have a crack at it now.

So meow, why do you think you should be coach of one of the new WVX franchises?

Experience at being a successful coach, entertainment and banter abilities, commitment.

Commitment? Didn't you already have 2 XV teams that you abandoned?
Yes.

Care to elaborate?

I gave grand final making Sweden up because I don't love the DT scoring system, and because I am a top bloke:

I've already told Holz that I would step down as head coach of the soon to be 2012 Euro champions the Swedish Metal at the end of the season to give someone else a go

As for Moscow I didn't think I could continue to coach at an appropriate level due to moving to a different country. My move was short lived due to a change of plans that revolve around family shower that I don't need to go into.

What about the deactivations, what's with that and how can coaches trust you not to leave AGAIN?

I joined FF way back in 2010 under the username chadburger. During the initial WXV draft I logged in on a computer at my parents house that I hadn't used forever and was logged into the wrong account. I was going to delete that one but somehow managed to delete meow meow instead.
The second time was in protest to ossie85 deactivating. He does a ton of work and the competition would fail without him.
The third time was just because I was moving. Didn't really need to deactivate though I guess. I am here for the long haul now.

Tell us about your previous coaching experience?

Like I said, I have been a member of the FF community since late 2010. I was a bit abrasive when I first joined but that's simply because people who knew less than me argued with me. Dusty averaged 111 from his first 6 games so suck it doges!

Anyone who has been involved in WXV for long enough knows that I built a quality list at Moscow, was more than a coach who just named a team every week, kept my team thread up to date and gave in depth information about the playing list.

As for EXV, a highly respected coach said it best:

meow meow draft (imo) the best euros side... had a perfect balance of older high scorers with young developing players- its the reason why metal was so strong last year/ is so strong now- albeit, nails sacrificed a lot of that youth for immediate scoring potential.

If your application is successful, what would your plans be for the new team?

A premiership in 3 years. Finals in year one, top 4 in year two, grand final in year three. I'm not here to be mediocre. I love the fact that there is a chance to draft each and every player on the initial list. If nothing else, I can draft a team that is competitive while having an eye on the future.

Anything else you'd like to say to the coaches and FF community in one final, desperate attempt to win them over?

Vote for me or I'll steal your cat and put chewing gum in your hair.

Having to score these applicants out of 10 is difficult

I think it would have been easier to just rank each one from 1 to 7 in order of preference

We've done similar things in the past, but have round ranking coaches from 1 to 7 doesn't give that good of an indication of how good an applicant is.

Makes sense :)

NY Votes lodged

Well done to all the applicants, and good luck!

6 of 16 votes already received, theoretically anyways game, but I'd call it a 4 horse race at this exceptionally early stage
