Reckon the return of VB will release Kerridge from tagging duties?  Or VB is at an age and coming off a decent injury so they'll just let him play footy, and Kerridge will continue his tagging duties
Really not sure about this one tbh. I'd prefer Kerridge as a tagger but also roaming free than VB. I reckon we might play VB on the half back flank with the occasional run with role and let Kerridge loose across the half forward flanks and middle.

Can't imagine he'd be conditioned enough to go straight in after a whole year out
He was close to playing at the end of this season. If we'd made the finals, he would've played.

Yeah but even if you've been ready for a while not playing any AFL games for a whole year still hurts.

Taylor Walker is a decent example

A leadership group of six and a Captain to be named soon

The Tiser today recons Tex should be the man after the leadership he showed when re-signing at around $700 000 a year for four years

DEFENCE
Truck Rutten retires, Lukey Thompson delisted as was versatile Shaun McKernen. Then they were left with the standout Talia, upgraded second year Hartigan, improving Sam Siggins and injury prone Sam Shaw as tall defenders. Also brought in the smaller Cheney

Then they draft star Jake Lever and a former Port Magpie junior Keenan Ramsey. Not forgetting how impressive Josh Jenkins was the lest few games at CHB, the mobile tall reinvented himself as a real utility so much so I wanted him to play back in 2015.

So now then, how do all these guys fit into one backline?

Would think Cheney isn't here to count chickens and Siggins has developed nicely in two seasons. Shaw fit sits in the first 22 and Hartigan almost certain to get Ruttens gig. Then there is Jake Lever, could be even better player than Daniel Talia and hasn't played for a year (Which is how we snared him) But all things point to Jake joining forces to create the best defencive duo in the AFL

Would not want to leave his mate Mayes who is signed till end of 2016.
