I think the issue has been resolved now though fellas (not sure if you wanna wait until BB announces) but I'm pretty sure the draft is ok to keep going :) Which means Noz is up?

Fair enough if people want to have a look at the rules. It hasn't really been brought up before, so I didn't know that people had a problem with it. CW originally had it set up this way to reflect real AFL drafting a bit more, with rookies going to the rookie list, but I understand if people would like it changed.

Definitely something to look at for next year's drafting period.

Noz

Was tossing up between 3 players for my finally pick but I have decided to pick a guy who could very well line up round 1 and stay there the entire season from the Dockers come on dooooooooowwwwwwwnnnnnn.

Brady Grey

Reece McKenzie, Clem Smith, Kane Lambert, Adam Saad, Shaun Edwards, Fraser McInnes and Brady Grey rounds of the Gazelles picks.

If Liam McBean isn't given DPP next year that would mean I have 1 ruck man in Ivan Maric so I will be looking at picking one up in the trader period.

hmmmmm, l do think we at the Crabs did quite a detailed submission on exactly this  ???

I would suggest using a similar format to EXV where the coach selects the squad first, then nominates the rookies later.

This will also help situations that we have faced the past 2 years.

Menzel has had 4 knee ops now yet we have had to leave him on the senior list with no ability to make him a rookie besides delisting and hoping another team grabs him before our pick.

The other scenario was when an AFL team delists a player but has signed them as a rookie ala Arnot. Arnot was on our senior list but because he is now a rookie we had to delist him, which we didnt really want to do. There was no way to move him to our rookie list.

Anyways, we need to find a solution as clubs are now leaving spots free on their senior list to elevate a rookie prior to round 1. There is also the ability in the AFL to elevate another rookie mid year.

The current system is fine. The only change needed is that in the rookie draft AFL Rookie drafted players aren't limited to our rookiw lists.

Anyway we'll take Corey Adamson

Missed my point. My point is that rookies are being seen as senior team members now in the AFL so we need to make similar adjustments.

But your saying we do it like EXV which is further away from real life AFL. We currently do it pretty much exactly like real life, it just needs a minor adjustment to avoid confusion. Should probably move this over to the rule discussion thread

Noz

Everyone had a chance to share their opinions of the current rules after the season ended. No point bringing up rules now to try and benefit yourself.
These rules are in place and they won't change if you have a suggestion write it down and present it at the end of next season.

Good pick, was tossing up between Krakouer, Cox and him.

Adamant

Lets hope he lives up to his name, Jake Long for me.

Ricochet

We'll go with Jacob Townsend.

Onto senior list please BB

Adamant

Bit of a risk here, but we'll take Brett Goodes with our final pick.

Ricochet

and we'll finish with

Teia Miles and Jesse Palmer. Really happy with these two to finish off
