You use your national draft picks as normal, In the rookie draft if you pick up a player and you still have room on your senior list then that player goes directly on the Senior list not the rookie list.

No, as that's you're only other ND pick isn't it? You have to use an ND pick to upgrade a rookie. You just fill the other spots with you're remaining rookie picks.
