2013:

In 2013, Lynch had a breakout year playing 17 games and cementing himself in the side by being the leading goal kicker with 33.20 for the season, ranking No.1 for marks and 2nd for goal assists at the club. Missed the last two games with a foot injury that required surgery. Fantasy wise, Lynch posted a very respectable average of 87 highlight by his 10 goal haul (165 DT) against GWS. He posted 4 tonnes (24%) and a further 10 scores (60%) between 75 and 100.

2014:

2014 was a year to forget after suffering a shoulder injury during the preseason before returning through the SANFL (1 goal amongst 31 touches) and breaking back into the side the next week (round 5). He started as sub, then posted 101 DT (25d, 2.1) in his second game then was cleaned up by Viney and breaking his jaw the following week. Returned in round 15 and enjoyed a solid month before returning to the SANFL for round 19, returned in round 20 to be cleaned up again and missed the remainder of the year.

Positives for 2015:
- Very under-priced and could get a further discount (10%?)
- Reasonably fantasy friendly role (roaming forward)
- Proved his ability to go big in 2013

Negatives for 2015:
- Although the jaw break and neck fracture were pure unluckiness he may not have the best luck with injury
- Not entirely proven performer

2015 Prediction: 75-85

I quite rate Lynch and could very well set himself as the third forward behind Tex and Pods to make a potent forward line. If he gets through the pre-season unscathed, he could make an excellent f5

Mr.Craig

I picked him in 2012 which turned out to be a year too early unfortunately.  :(

I'll certainly give him a look.

I don't like KPP at all in AF won't look at him at all

pommyadam

I personally like him, looks very solid (7 completed games under 80 in the last 2 seasons) with the option of going big

looks like he'll be priced nicely (320k, before any potential discount), and looks nice in the Adelaide setup too (that 62 was him subbed off early in Q2, was tearing it up at that point)

Sweetness

Thought he might slip under the radar  :P
Priced 20ppg under his expected average next year I reckon.

Definite F5 potential.

Not really a KPP, that's more Tex/Jenkins/Pods.
As mentioned in the write-up, more of a roaming forward.

Yeah, takes a lot of marks over the ground, kicks goals too. I remember a game he played at CHB two years ago for Glenelg where he mad 17 marks and 36 disposals, knows how to find the footy.

Problem is his skill level, struggled to be in the best 22 this year even when fit. Long term def best 22 but if Podsy sticks around and JJ doesn't go back. Lynch has a fight on his hands to be in the Rd1 team atm. But the fact he is a big forward means he can have the very low scoring game at some point, would pay to see where he plays in the Pre-season :)

Def a top 6 unique contender though, especially to start off at the price, really like him personally

Kellogscrunchynut

He really needs a good pre season to be any chance of being a top AF forward, and with the plethora of MID/FWD options going around at the moment there are better options.

Ricochet

I'll be looking at mids who gain fwd status first i reckon.
Nice writeup though mate
