Trading is open till rookie draft.      The NAB AFL Pre-season and Rookie Drafts will be held from 5pm on Monday, November 27.

Nat Draft is as soon as the real Nat Draft Finishes so 25 November 11:59 Am EAST
Trade Deadline is 2 Dec 11:59pm AEST time. (unless Nat draft taking too long - will be extended with notice)
Delisting Deadline: is 3 Dec 11:59pm AEST time (unless Nat Draft taking too long - will be extended with notice)
Rookie Draft is 4 Dec 11:59 AM time (unless Nat Draft taking too long - will be extended with notice)

yep thats the point.

however there is still the 2 hour online rule so if its your pick and your negotiating a deal and its taking too long you will be skipped. I dont want it holding up the draft, so plan in advance and act quick.

I like trading when drafts are on but the one downside is it holds up drafts if not managed properly. If your busy and dont want to trade then you dont have to so i think its best of both worlds as long as the time restrictions are in place.

So the thread got locked, but just so it's aired here is my reply to the situation:

I see Hardwick as being on the Bears list in one of the other draft threads
And in any case admin should have been told he appears to be missing so he could be added to the draft if he isn't on a team list

Not according to 'EXV team lists by position' thread or the OP of the Bears team thread (which appears to be updated as it says 2018 and has their Nat draftees).

The rookie draft never had an 'available players list' in the past, it used to be up to coaches to do their own research. I identified Blake (along with others) as a target halfway through the year and made a little shortlist when I noticed he wasn't on a team then. I wasn't going to trawl through everyone's lists and the unlisted players just to make sure everyone was accounted for, was I?

If I was REALLY trying to rort the system, I would have waited until my last pick. I figured there'd be some coaches who would realise since there was a spreadsheet shared on this board earlier this year which had this info on it as well.

Fair game imo- we only started doing the available players (last year?) because coaches cbf doing it themself... actually really disadvantage me because at the time I had an up to date list of my own :P
