Spangher got done for a BS holding the ball when he didn't have it.
Monfries got a BS free kick for front on contact when Gibson had his eyes on the ball the whole time.

But no let's pick out one holding the ball free because it was in the last minute  ::)

decisions in the last minute are more important if you cant see it then oh well

Kicking accurately for goal is even more important and Port couldn't do that

Hawthorns first 2 goals were by free kicks.
No comment on those.
So for all you critics of wingard , was instrumental in the last 8 minutes.

The discussion in great close games always has to be ruined by people talking about umpiring decisions.
There are bad decisions every game, every week from q1 to q4 and there always will be.
It wasn't like it was an absolute blunder of a call anyway. It was a 50/50 that went Hawthorns way.

Was a great finish to a great game none the less. Port have a habit of steamrolling teams and nearly did it again.

Wingard certainly got involved. They actually moved him to half back and he was streaming through the middle at every bounce. Good coaching because it got him into the game.

Roughy was best on for mine. Loves the big stage.

Roughie's in the back was BS to. Just hope those umps dont have nothing to do with the GF, their last two minutes was horrendous both ways.

It's easy to pick out 1 free kick late in a close game.
Port won the frees 21 to 17 and there was poor calls both ways all day

Mate watch the second quarter, when Port were on top, and see if the umps don't influence the  game. I'll admit the second half was even, and the Hawks were great, but just saying. As I said earlier, congrats to the Hawks, their a great team, and deserve to be in the GF, as they were one of the best teams this year. And as a sidenote, I hope you get up next week. Nothing against the Swans, but as a South Aussie, don' WANNA SEE Kurt SMILING :)
