seems unlikely to me that there are only 14 changes from last season
I don't think that's a full list

edit: oh, AFL seems to indicate that they're the only "fantasy" relevant players

with regards to Petracca, I think he'll be similarly priced to KKolo, which means that I'd be VERY surprised to see him under 275k

nobody is claiming it is, it's just like a highlight reel

its moving to a point where we just pick 22 mids and can have unlimited trades every week.

I wanted Swan as a mid POD now he is just a forward lock.

Hanley DPP 2016, bring it on.  8)

Boring, but I'm not surprised. Knew Swan, Lids and Ziebell would get it. The others were a bit unexpected.

Now everybody will have the same forward line next year. :P

Why's that? DPP is just a tactical option. Still have to balance spending. Post mid season teams are similar regardless. Perhaps Buddy, Zorko, Cloke, Hawkins or Wright types will be the PODS. Now that would be something   ;D

Have been calling Lids DPP for a while now 8)

Nothing so far that wasn't kind of expected.

DPP would be just a tactical option with limited trades. But DPP with 2 trades a week, especially when they give DPP to absolute proven midfield guns just makes the game far too easy in terms of picking your starting team. For mine, if they are so hell bent on giving the likes of Swan DPP status then they should be considering capping the amount of DPP players you can have per line.
Swan was a really interesting risk or reward type selection this year.....now he is just someone you basically have to pick.

is he though?

DPP will price him around the 500k mark, which means that he'll have to get back up to ~100 to be worth the cash
now, will he be getting back into the midfield (Beams has gone, but Adams won't continue to be sub, and I'll be damned if Greenwood doesn't play every game) so he'll probably stick forward

given that he puts minimal effort into NAB anyway (so you can't really tell how he'll be scoring) then it's a speculative punt if you pick him

based on this season: opening rounds
Brisbane: 96
Adelaide: 79
StKilda: Did not play
Essendon: 57 and 122 (122 in the anzac game)
Carlton: 102
so that actually rates him LOWER than his price (if he scored exactly the same as this year) - so he'd actually lose value by rd7 (93.7 season average, 91.2 average of that period)
plus he's another year older, and may spend even more time up forward

I personally will be sticking with the likes of Dusty/Lids, who are a lot more consistent and pose the higher ceiling (and are still key midfield components of their sides)
and from a more interesting note, it appeared that he'd lost his ability to score well this year - sure he was getting a few tons (8 tons in a 9 week period) but only 2 of them were over 120
he can still notch them up, but (in my opinion) the big scores that we know and love are behind him

also, you could've said the same about Dangerfield this season, but there were no end of coaches that were maddened by him (especially with a last-6 game average of only 89)
