Profile

Playing his first full season at AFL level, Lachie has shown the ability to rack up some pretty mean numbers with five games over 30 touches (when including the qualifying final). His back end to the season has been particularly eye-catching, averaging 95 from Round 14 onwards. He is still prone to the odd poor game with five scores below 60 (one as sub) and he'd need to fix that up to be a decent pick. In reality he's probably too awkwardly priced to be seriously considered and there might not be enough upside to push him to the 95+ zone that would make picking him worthwhile. In the draft style games though I think he could be a really nice pick.

Pros - 120+ ceiling, good progression, big ball winner

Cons - Unproven, cost, inconsistency

Prediction - 86-92

Ricochet

and there back! nice read Craigy. Lachie is a gun, spewing we don't have him in more XVs teams. Reckon he is another 2 years away from posting consistent scores when Mundy will be phased out of the mids and Lachie will get a bigger role.

Nige

This kid is going to be a gun, already showing some super promising signs.

Sweetness

Great pick for the draft leagues.
UNless he goes mental in pre-season it'll be a pass for me.

Or he plays like he did last night..

Mailman the 2nd

Yeah think he still needs another year to stamp out the inconsistent occasional low scores

pommyadam

looks like a nice option in the matchday/draft leagues

but can't justify picking him over a Scooter/Griffen/Steven type (those with the history, and will be <40k more than his price)

stew42

Watch out when this kid gets permanent midfield time... we've seen flashes of it already

henry

An extremely impressive last month has him right up there for me. Priced at an average in the 80s I think he will average around 95, meaning at the least he is a stepping stone. Strongly considering.

Spinking

Really like this kid. Still a bit inconsistent but should get more opportunities in coming years. Will be an awkward price next year and unless AF rules change I wouldn't consider him.
