Profile

While all the talk was about the new fantasy pig in town, Redden quietly went about returning to premium status with a brilliant season that was cut short by injury. When you average 28 points a game from tackles alone it's very hard to have a poor scoring game and after a slight misstep in 2013 it appears he's ready to be considered alongside the more popular midfield picks such as Selwood, Barlow and Watson. Jack was the 12th highest averaging mid for the season and it wouldn't take much to push him up into the top group (one extra kick a game and he would have been ranked 6th, placing him ahead of Pendlebury). I see him as a great POD option without a great deal of risk attached.

Pros - High tackle numbers, unlikely to be tagged, proven scorer, big ceiling

Cons - Has gone backwards in the past

Prediction - 103-108

Sweetness

Went 110, 120, 128, 103, 117, 123 for an average of 116..8 before he got injured.
Very high on my watchlist.

nrich102

Was going really well before he went down injured. Lock Lock Lock O0

Ricochet

Strongly considering that Rich RedRock combo next year. Redden and Rocky are a good chance to be the new Pendles/Swan over the next 5-7 years

Justin Bieber

Only thing is Rico, Rich tends to get the tag which hurts his possession numbers :(.

Went for the RedRock combo this year and Redden was doing great prior to injury and certainly a POD as not many actually had him to begin with! Certainly on the watchlist.

Ricochet

Yep definitely man. Only thinking about jumping on Rich because he should be super cheap

Justin Bieber

Should be indeed. I've just been bitten before by mid pricer mids so usually end up just Guns and Rookies :P.

GoLions

Was a POD for me just about every single week, hadn't missed a game since debut IIRC (or very close to that) until his injury put him our for the season. We took the cautious approach with him, so he'll be fully fit and ready to go round 1 next year. Lock him in!

Will probably take a punt on Rich and Redden next year :D
