Fremantle are holding their breath after injury-prone midfielder Anthony Morabito was injured at training this morning.

Morabito, who underwent three knee reconstructions before returning to play this season, was carried off the training track early by two trainers, with indications he was in visible pain.

The nature of the injury is at this stage unclear

Sounds like a career down the drain now.... He had so much potential... Hope he's alright though

Not an ACL thank god.

Knee injury but no structural damage

valkorum

Thank goodness for that.  They are saying 2 - 4 weeks which means he will be right for pre-season.

Anthony Morabito suffered a minor injury to his left knee during training at Fremantle Oval on Thursday morning.

Morabito was assessed by club medical staff and sent for scans.

The scans confirmed that it was not a structural injury and would only require a two to four week rehabilitation program.
