Was listening to an interview with Patty and FiveAA. He said "I haven't made up my mind" and "I haven't given any thought to it" in regards to signing beyond next year. He also stated that a contract would not be signed by the start of the 2015 season.

Alarm bells are ringing. It's hard to believe a player with under a year to go on his contract hasn't even considered his future. His tone was hardly re-assuring might I add. I think at this stage it sounds like he is going home to moggs. So if this is the reality, crows have to look at getting the right compensation. Should they look at trading him this year? Perhaps they look at getting a first round draft pick and a player. A move they certainly regret not making with Tippett.

I have a feeling money won't have a big say in his decision. Looks to be made for the media, so should be set up for life. Think Geelong is the team he will go to. I would look to trade for their first round, second round and jordan murdoch or a first round and steven motlop.
