yeah, sorry, had a hectic day today...spent 7 hours driving (to sydney, from sydney, repeat, repeat), didn't have time to post my reasons :P

We're struggling with forwards atm, as you can see with our mess of

we need a bloke like hunter, and hopefully reid can pull his finger out :P If christensen gets forward dpp again and caddy doesn't lose it, we might have a functional forward lineup for once :P

Alright, here we go. Wasn't intending to make another trade, but Zip approached me with a good offer and had to give it quite a bit of thought before actually agreeing to it.

Storm give: Trent McKenzie + N18
Svalbard give: N4 + R8

Cannon had a down year and while I reckon he'll bounce back, I like the prospects available with the picks Svalbard has offered, N18 added in because we've already got three picks before it (if the deal goes through). Had to weigh up what impact letting Cannon go would have on the back line but we reckon we have the players to cover and can also pick another up with R8 given the quality of the pool.

reason: was really looking forward to these picks and already listed the guys in my squad but im all about safety. The guy i was going to take in the nat i believe looks amazing for fantasy and think he will be a F/M. Was really painful to basically trade him out but as all rookies who knows what he will do, I think he will be a star but lets see how that plays out. The guy i would have taken in the rookie basically matched trealor this year and i think he can keep up his form but again a slight risk.

on potential im losing this deal but im getting a star to add to my now very very strong midfield.

Confirmed. Nost and I are looking to rejuvenate the list and now have some very impressive picks for the nat draft. While we have lost a star in Treloar, we will welcome a future star with nat 1,  while giving us a little flexibility to cover a need with rook 1.
