dont think so as they went that way the other year and it didnt work.

They will trade players and picks for players this year, wont pick up any delisted players

What I found funny is that he 'quit' when as KB said he would have been likely to be delisted in the end. He is an idiot, he loses out on whatever money he would have gained had he not tried to become a FA and he is terrible so he likely won't get picked up by a club

it probably looks better for him that he quit instead of getting delisted

like any normal job it looks better if you quit rather then get fired

he has played very well in the VFL all year but he just doesn't do it in the AFL

Teams have seen enough of him play to make an informed decision, quitting is just dumb on his behalf.

Shame he didn't turn into the player he was expected to be. Was an absolute star at 16-18. I remember him destroying those U18 comps.
I'm guessing he must have a target club lined up for him to quit rather than wait and get delisted.
