That being said Wines or Hanley is laughable, and just makes the statement look stupid.
Within our right to expect a top 10 pick I think.

If Port were to , even consider putting Ollies name up as a sweetener, I'd support the Crows
In the impossible situation that Wines moved (will never happen) it would just be a straight trade or with Essendon sweetening I would imagine.

Mailman the 2nd

Crameri's value didn't drop because Dodoro is a numbskull and got lucky that the Bulldogs folded

Doubt he'll fold this time either, and there will be more clubs competing for the services of Ryder than would ever chase Crameri.

I really think a top 10 pick, or at the least a first round pick, is the asking price.

Mailman the 2nd

I'd say Ryder is probably first round as well, whether or not its top 10 depends on who's interested

I have an idea ....

How about this

1. Take away top 2 draft picks for 2 years

2. Fine the club 2 million

3. Fine/Ban all coaches involved

4. Remove them from the finals series (2013)

5. Disrupt the whole season in 2014 by letting this shower go on and on and on

6. Let clubs take all of Essesndons best players due to a clause that allows them to leave

7. Allow the players to leave for little to no compensation.

8. Ban all players involved for 2 years

Im an Essendon supporter obviously and i never asked for the club to do what they have and yes i think they deserve to be punished but this is getting beyond a joke.

Ha, it's true it's a tough life being an Essendon supporter for the last couple of years.

Mailman the 2nd

Maybe, but at least half of those things were completely the clubs own doing

Never said it wasn't .. the only thing missing at the moment is a red hot poker up the jack seat.

Let the AFL punish the Bombers .. let ASADA be the ones that report it to the AFL.

Dudge

Must admit, always felt sorry for the players. The rest that initiated this, should get what they deserve

the big thing for any club is that any player they bloody steal could be out for 6-24 months..they will have to account for that! does that count for their contract???

and also compensation for Ryder would have to be a first round pick surely, especially as they are thinking that this years draft will be average and of course Ryders skill!

Port Adelaide suits him ;)
I actually don't think any of them suit him haha.  :P

Ricochet

Honestly, would a team like GWS or Brissie care if he got a 6-12month ban?
He'd stay contracted and come back when they're a little closer to playing finals.

Essendon's Patrick Ryder is likely to be traded to Port Adelaide after the Power have committed to trading away their Pick.16.

Brisbane have refused to trade their Pick 4 leaving them with Pick 22 as the next available selection.
