Realize that against heavy criticism with my trading last off-season I took my team from spooners to finals, and realize I might actually know what Im doing.

If a trade committee that was introduced mid way through trade period can come in and approve this trade surely they can provide a explanation as to why they approved it after BB didn't.

May be playing with fire her and coming in and answering questions. I do not know the other reasons for the other 2 trade committee members for passing but will give some insight as to why.

Hibberd is 25 and averages 114 and has played 63 games over 4 seasons
McGovern is 22 and averages 89 but only played 13 games in this his debut season.
So first consideration 3 years difference in ages so McGovern can improve his output,
There is a difference of 25 points ppg between the 2.
And we have a first round pick added to McGovern and a second Round pick with Hibberd.
In my mind with difference in ages and difference in picks trade,although still favouring Bangkok a little, there in not really enough of a difference to negate the trade imo.

I don't get why Koop/Nige don't realise that they deserve and obviously could get more from Hibberd. But they are being too ignorant for some reason.

Oh well, at least there will be another team on the bottom of the ladder :)

Just curious looking at that back line... If they get rid of Hibberd is there anyone left? I don't really see a half decent player there so losing one of the best for nothing doesn't make sense.

Forgetting Lachie Hendersen and Sam Rowe. As well as we have already stated we are chasing a defender and a forward for 9+13.

Not having a go mate but you trade one of the best defenders in this comp for a F4 then try to trade away 2 first round draft picks to secure a defender. If you rated him that highly why didn't you trade pick 9 or a 2nd round pick for McGovern and of kept Hibberd.

You are not going to find a better defender out there for picks 9+13 than Hibberd.

that'd be an awful system........ there'd be potential for people to block trades out of self interest

Not being involved in Asians and I take the point raised I will just say that there are flaws in all systems as has been highlighted. Speaking of British though I have only had 2 trades in 2 years that have been challenged that have had to go to the Trades committee so that shows the effectiveness of an admin ruling on trades. Trades committee also reviews trades involving my own team prior to approval.
No matter what system you use there will at times being objections to rulings as is the case here but just remember no matter which system you use the persons ruling on trades are looking at facts presented and then giving their own opinion which may differ from others. I gave my opinion above as to why I think the trade was reasonable.

like coaches voting strategicly, coaches negging trades that are only a little bit uneven, coaches negging trades cause they wanted a player or don't want a team to get stronger then there are people that just don't know much about some players so they don't rate them as much there are so many reasons the system is flawed

least in in bxv you take the time on each trade assess team needs etc

ossiie and bb should be trusted to do the same if people disagree go to trades committee

Btw I don't have a problem with Koop trading Hibberd, I have a problem with trading their only good positional player and have no other players that can cover and making another team uncompetitive. I want an equal comp, not a comp where it seems Nost and Koop has an alliance to subtle build up the crabs to an unbeatable force and making the eskimoes shower.

Who brought the match committee in, in the first place? Did we vote? If we didn't then scrap it. Can't make rules without vote apparently so no special cases. Seems rules are made specially for the crabs.
