The trade probably still passes with Danger being a pure mid anyway. I admit I haven't seen many Crows games, but I thought he might be a chance to keep his DPP with the amount of goals he kicked.

We have a surplus of young defenders and need forwards. Sutcliffe > Griffiths atm so the pick balances it out.

Also hoping (though not confident) that Griffiths can get fwd/ruc next season (should at least be fwd only) to help out with our ruck dilemma.

Reason: Really need to inject some youth so don't mind taking the punt on Toumpas who hasn't looked great at AFL level yet. Solid defenders are hard to come by and Gwilt averaged 95 this year but I don't need him anymore.
