Yeah I'm happy with that too, always good to get someone else's opinion.

Elephants give: Anthony Miles + pick 13
Crabs give: Dion Prestia

One message got this trade to go through. Nost or levy to confirm 8)

Confirmed  8)

**who's levy?

APPROVED

Reasoning: Prestia proved himself a star of the competition this year, with a 130 average, and tackles plenty which adds to his scoring capabilities. He has ranked 14th in the competition for this scoring method this year.
Miles meanwhile had a good year, but still has only played 12 games, so it is unknown if he will continue this strong output, or if he can reach the scoring heights of Prestia. Pick 13 balances this trade nicely.

Australia give: Tom Bugg
Mongolia give: Rory Lobb

JB to confirm.

Pretty self-explanatory, I need defenders, JBs wants the GWS ruck line.

Yep confirm,  what toga said!

APPROVED

Reasoning: Lobb was pick 22 in the AXV Draft last season, and after only a year, he has shown some promising signs, without setting the world on fire. Bugg, who only averages low 80s, is a fair swap.

Bears give: M. Thomas + M. Rischitelli + M. Jamar + N48
Dongs give: J. Grimes + N29

One thing we lacked this year was mid depth, one thing we had excess of was defender depth.

Obviously Jack Grimes previously has been a def premo and could be again next year. He's still fairly young so worth a bit.

However this trade gives us the depth we need. However as I type this out I realise I might not have enough movements to add the quality I need and am beginning to doubt myself...

Anyway, I guess we'll do the trade...

Adam Ant to confirm.

Confirmed.

Sad to see Rischi go after his huge 171 in the Grand Final this year. Hoping Grimes can get back to his best.

APPROVED

Reasoning: This trade just gets through. Jamar + Pick 48 = Pick 29 more or less. Thomas and Rischitelli are quite a bit to give up for Grimes, but they are both older than Grimes, and do not look to have the same scoring potential of Grimes, who could become a top defender if he can get over his injury worries. Also, he is a defender, and this seems to be the hardest position to find quality players.

Confirm!

Sad to see one of the best players in the comp in SJ leave, but he was one of a bunch of our mids that were getting on a bit in age and we felt like we needed to bring in a young star so that our midfield isn't completely done in a year's time after a few retirements hit us. Ballantyne was a pretty handy player for us this year but had to let him go to even up the deal

Nails

would have given you so much more for Johnson  :-\

Toga

Well we did talk the other day but you didn't seem all that interested in him then :(

Justin Bieber

All that for Brandon Ellis? Wtf.

Miles > Ellis

And that third rounder means nothing. So minus that.

BLOCKED

Reasoning: Mongolia are giving up too much for Ellis here. Young and the 3rd round pick are worth about equal. Leaving Ellis (125 avg MID) to be traded for Johnson, (145 MID) and Ballantyne (107 FWD). While Johnson only has a couple of years left, he was the 4th highest averaging player this year, compared with Ellis, who was 56th. Ballantyne also kicked a lot of goals this year and proved himself to be a consistent scorer. Too much is being offered for Ellis, making the trade too uneven to pass.

This will be passed on to our Trade Review committee, once I receive a reasoning for the trade from both involved coaches.

JBs-Hawks

Didnt think it was that bad seeing as SJ is ancient.

Do we post the reasoning here?

Ellis has shown this year the he will become a future fantasy star. Mongolia were after young premium mids as most of their mids are close to retirement

Johnson was the 4th highest midfielder but who knows how long he has left. Ellis becomes a perfect replacement for him but as he is 9 years younger than him Ballantyne comes in to even the odds.

I need a starting forward and he gets a young premium

Surprising this trade gets blocked but A premium forward can be traded for 3 duds

Jroo

I didn't think this trade was too bad, Ellis is much younger than SJ, and it's basically SJ + Balla for Ellis. I've definitely seen a couple that are worse, from this period.

I guess it's up to the trade committee now?
