Just unlucky. Longmire prefers Lloyd as the sub

Big Mac

He played a massive game on the weekend - Must be frustrating to get dropped after a performance like that

Mailman the 2nd

There's still a spot for him if he's up to it. Doubt this is the exact team that'll be there next year. He's had a bad run with injuries so I'm sure he's used to it.

Bird isn't a certainty to play by any means though, so Mitchell may well play anyway

just management and working for the team we are playing against.

My Chumps

Mailman the 2nd

Good win and good lift. Very confident we can beat Geelong or North at home on Friday night. We could've Mitchell's pressure as Bird looked underdone but he'll be better for it and Lloyd did well too.

Lloyd's first year as been really underrated, as he averages 16 disposals a game only just behind guys like Taylor and Bont but had 5 green sub vests, averages a bunch of marks and is great in pressured contested football.

He's got huge potential in the next couple of years, could easily break out much quicker than any of the other rising stars with another good pre-season

Sydneys finals campaign: Hmmmm seems on track to me. ;)

My Chumps

Was so supremely confident that whole game for some reason. Only slip up at the start of the second half.

Mailman the 2nd

well we were never really behind at all during the game, just kept wasting chances to put them away for good early

Rohan struggled all game and didnt really kick the ball properly all night.

A strong 2nd half was also impressive

Mailman the 2nd

See I didn't think he played that badly. He shanked a few kicks and was unlucky that both turned into rebound goals, but he made plenty of spoils and Mayne didnt have a significant impact.

Freo is also meant to be one of the toughest defensive pressure teams so I thought he wasn't horrible
