Definitely not good but Ibbo will surely stay in the team and take Johnson's role, with Silvagni coming in to play the key post.

Yep agree. Its a bummer its Sydney with their bloody fwd line. We would have been over to cover most other teams quite easily.

I wouldnt be surprised if McPharlin is fit and we play Dawson, McPharlin and Silvagni for the match against Sydney.  If this happens then I see both Suban and Crozier going out and Ibbo being the Sub

yep, tough for Freo from here - losing a big defender and some run off half-back.
Ibbotson's not quite back to his 2012 form and Silvagni won't give much run or decision making as MJ.

getting Fyfe back will help but with the Sydney midfield the likely outcome is draw/slightly win or lose the contested possession from the middle which I don't reckon will be enough for Freo to limit supply to Buddy, Tippett, Goodes/Reid for the Freo defence to cover.

Guessing Silvagni goes to Buddy and Dawson will have to go to Tippett  ::)

Ross hinted at possibly bringing in Morabito to the backline - he has been playing off the half back line for Peel.  Dawson, Silvagni and Ibbo to take the talls with Morabito playing the MJ release role sounds good to me.
