Doubt they would give us 10 and 16.

10 and a second round is much more likely.

Sounds like 10 + 16 for Gibbs + future 2nd. Other pick swaps potentially as well, works well for both clubs I think.

It's looking like this. It basically works out to 10 and a bump up on next years second round pick by 5-8 spots for Gibbs. It's probably decent value for both teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wigg pick thrown in there. We might package that and this years third for Kennedy since the points might be more valuable to GWS for academy selections.

How deep is this years draft?

Demonland says its crap haha, oh, flower me.

Agree we're getting a reasonably good deal, but there's a lot of emotional attachment to the man.

Carlton will play finals again before Gibbs retires!

Gibbs will be 29 for next season, so I'd say it's fair to give him at least another four. Surely the Blues will be competing sooner rather than later?

Another deal that goes the Crows way, with this one, Lever & should they also get 12 for Cameron it would almost be fair to say they've won this trade period.

*insert generic comment about carlton sucking and will never be relevant again*

Hopefully this means more gametime for Nick Graham

I find it hard to believe that after 12 months of discussions they could have a 'misunderstanding' haha.

Only explanation is it was lost in translation between South Australian and Victorian. Can be difficult languages to comprehend sometimes :P

Money Shot

10 and 16 for Gibbs.

A swap of next years second round picks and some later picks also involved.

Carlton have won here. I'll miss Gibbsy though :(
