100% would rather watch a 6 episode season than a 12-24 episode season.  In fact I don't watch anything that pumps out 24 eps a season, quality over quantity by a mile every single time.

Lachie Weller has increased his disposals by 5 every year (2015 - 10, 2016 - 15, 2017 - 20).  He is extremely fast, he is still only 21 and has played 47 games.  He is worth a lot more than Matera and a pick

Considering we also just offered him a 4 year contract extension.

Love the irony in this.    Freo plan ahead and look to lock in a young player for next 4 years.   Player assesses what it means to him personally and now it is crystallised what he really wants.   Head back to Queensland at end of his first contract.

It is looking more likely that the Jake Stringer trade will be completed thanks to some help from the West Coast Eagles.
The deal would involve the Dogs accepting picks 25 & 30 from Essendon, and then on trading the picks to the Eagles for pick 13.

That would require us offering pick 12, which won't happen unless you give us 16. Cameron isn't worth a top 20 pick (which we already offered), so Crows will either fold, or we'll get him for free next year.

Apart from the fact it was 2 firsts,  Lever straight up or Cameron and a pick (bet Adelaide are regretting that now) that we were asking for. Add to the fact that Gibbs has 3 years on his contract, not 1 where he can walk for nada next year, Gibbs>>>>Cameron and it's not even close. A late first round pick for Cameron is about right in value. Adelaide either take what they can get for him this year or cop it next year when a pissed Cameron walks into the PSD.

He's worth more than 16 + himself for 12 though, that's ridiculous, but I suppose he won't have the chance to kick 5 in a prelim up at Brisbane though ;)
