Heh, I'd certainly like to know what Freo imagines giving up for Jesse, given he's a contracted player.

Still, if Jesse meeting with Fyfe has anything to do with not being happy with the Watts saga, then two things:
1) Goodwin, you've officially created a circus. You flowering idiot, and shame on you for not seeing it coming. I cannot believe you are shoving such a talented player out the door, for a likely second round draft pick.
2) If Jesse is seriously that perturbed about Watts leaving, then really, he should grow up.

Why would Jesse meeting with Fyfe have anything to do with Watts?

Sounds like you're jumping to conclusions a bit? Or is it (Hogan unhappy about Watts) just some rumour someone on Demonland is going with?

I don't think Watts being traded will impact the Dees at all tbh. I hope he stays, because he's had to go through so much crap to get here now where Melb is actually getting good, but sometimes you need to make hard calls and break up if it's just not going anywhere, and as much pressure as Jack has endured, it might be time to cut ties and move - would be good for both parties
Yeh rumour is quite a few boys are unhappy about Watts being pushed out by the club

The Dee's have been very patient with Watts it seems looking at him he that he has not been willing or unable to go the extra bit to get the best out of his career and himself not all his fault he seems a very laid back dude just his personality maybe , sometimes a change is needed for this to happen.

Yarp. Jay Clark, who normally has good info about the Dees, reckons Jesse is unhappy about Watts being pushed out.

I reckon Watts has improved a lot, I like him and feel sorry for him but there has been this stigma attached to him since he arrived at the club as a high draft pick as he did not perform to people's expectations. I wouldn't be trading him away for fark all though.

Yeah it does have a bit of a scapegoat feel to it doesn't it?

I like Watts, but at the the same time I kind of feel like the Watts vs Melb relationship has obviously gotten to a stage where the Dees think they can't do anymore to get more out of him and get his full potential, and it sounds like there is a fair bit of frustration and resentment now coming from the Dees towards him

It does feel like a bit of a cop out, especially considering the pressure Jack has had on him since being drafted and how shower the club has been during his time up until recently, it's a shame he might have to have endured all of that only to be moved on when success was finally around the corner

I feel for the bloke. If he was drafted in any other position other than #1 his career would have been so much more different, and less stressful

And it turns out it was a friendly just a catch up with Fyfe  ::)

I hate my pessimistic nature fuelled by the media haha

You don't meet up for a friendly catch... if you aren't friends.  Surely there has to be more to it

They're both Claremont products, Fyfe playing colts in 2009 and league in 2010 and Hogan playing colts in 2011 and 2012 so it's somewhat realistic that they had experience with each other from then

#7210
Adelaide trade: Lever & Cameron & 16
Receive: Gibbs & 10 & 18

Brisbane trade: Schache & 18
Receive: Cameron & 16

Carlton trade: Gibbs
Receive: Schache & Kennedy

GWS trade: Kennedy
GWS receive: 27

Melbourne trade: 10 & 27
Receive: Lever

Thoughts on that?

(I know it won't happen as a 5 way trade with some A grade players and high draft picks would just not happen but I think everyone wins here)

RaisyDaisy

Not hard to see the Carlton bias there ;)

There's really no point trying to come up with trades lol

Just wait and see what happens :)

Not a trade rumour but Robbie Gray was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Has undergone surgery to remove tumor and now undergoing short course of precautionary chemotherapy.
