Yeah that has been the problem with Lobbe, no one wants to pay his salary.

Considering we would get an end of first round pick for Rocky as compensation if leaving as a DFA or whatever, you or the Suns would either have to give us a first round pick or a decent player for this to work, right? Otherwise we'd just take pick 19 as compo.

Could be a 3 way, with Rocky & B Ah Chee to Suns & player / pick on to Lions

As long as it's no one bigger than Ah Chee then I'm okay with it. I don't want to hear that a Wines, Wingard, Boak or the likes suddenly want a trade out of SA which is why we are looking at Rocky.

That's exactly what I was saying - surely Rocky's market value as a trade target wouldn't be higher than the Pick 19 that FA would give as compo.. So if he was leaving would make sense to let him go in FA surely!

Hanley got pick 15 or something like that, so I'd say we definitely could get something better than 19. We already have Port's first rounder though, and we ain't getting the Suns first haha. Still no guarantee to leave though, i believe i heard Hodgey was gonna convince him to stay! :P
