Adelaide list manager Justin Reid has waltzed into Etihad Stadium.

"We've had an open and honest dialogue. Hopefully we'll get a good outcome for Bryce and his family.

"If we have to go to the draft, that was our original strategy, so that's what we'll do."

he can get taken in the preseason draft right?

why wouldnt teams just talk to the team holding the number 1 preseason draft pick? im sure it would cost less then pick 13.

or can they go in the national draft?

Richmond gets Josh Caddy and pick 56 for Geelong's picks 24 and 64 @AFL #AFLTrades @traderadio

Softie is contracted, so if he breaks the contract he'd have to spend 2 years out of the AFL pretty sure?

Geelong going for broke. Scott will lose his job in 2 years when it all falls apart.

Great work from the Tiges! Caddy for 24 (basically) is a good deal.

Yeh he would, and softie would be silly to do that nor would anyone expect him to.

Caddy and Smedts both gone. What link do they have to each other, anyone?

so this is a team that is basically bringing in Presita Yarran Caddy and making finals and doing damage is a crazy call.

losing lids is a big out though.

Lids is basically the difference between a win and a loss.

But they have to come back from so far back, and team like Essendon, Fremantle, Melbourne, St. Kilda aren't exactly getting worse. Only your side looks like it'll go backwards big time next year, Hawks maybe slipping into the bottom 4 of the 8.

And as iZ said, Richmond can't win without Deledio

I'd laugh if JOM went to the National Draft, both Essendon and GWS pass on him then Brisbane snap him up at Pick 3!

Haven't complimented the Tigers after a draft period in awhile, that may have to change this year. Think they have done well.
Get a good 1st round pick for Lids and they'll be sitting on an "A"  grade.

Well thats not going to happen, he wants to go to melbourne, so the dons will lock him in if he chooses the psd :P

Cats now looking at getting Aaron Black to replace Kersten, Vardy and Clark who barely plays

The Richmond can't win without Lids thing is a bit stupid. Basically people just looking for an easy cheap shot at the Tigers.
