Yeh I hate that

Surprised you think that!

Pick 3 for Hill, McCarthy and pick 14-16ish!

People overrate draft picks so much IMO

Congratulations for Suns for standing firm:

"Suns still saying they'll play hard over O'Meara. Marcus Ashcroft says O'Meara is on market to club that provides acceptable compensation."

About time too enough of kids dictating where they want to go.

Let's look at the last 20 Pick 3s.

1996: Rory Hilton
1997: Trent Croad
1998: Nic Fosdike
1999: Aaron Fiora
2000: Alan Didak
2001: Chris Judd
2002: Jared Brennan
2003: Colin Sylvia
2004: Ryan Griffen
2005: Xavier Ellis
2006: Lachie Hansen
2007: Chris Masten
2008: Stephen Hill
2009: Dustin Martin
2010: Sam Day
2011: Dom Tyson
2012: Lachie Plowman
2013: Jack Billings
2014: Angus Brayshaw
2015: Callum Mills

Granted the ones from the last couple of years are too early in their careers to properly know whether they would be worth it or not, I'd count 4 of those who actually would have been worth this proposed deal and even best case scenario, let's say the last 3 will all turn out to be worth it as well. That's a 7/20 hit rate for being better off with a Pick 3.

It depends what the club does with the pick as well though... it'd probably be fairer to look at pick 3,4,5 from each year since the splitting between them is just the call of the club :P

My Chumps

Should also probably consider improvements in recruiting/scouting young prospects.

Hill
Martin
Day
Tyson
Billings
Brayshaw

I rate all those over Brad "Daisy" Hill. Every nat pick has their spuds. Hill is an outside dog who gets flower all of the ball as is.

meow meow

3 for Mitchell and 18
18 for Lobb

Screw the Draft

The question isn't who of that list is better than Brad Hill, the question is who on that list is better than Brad Hill, McCarthy and Pick 15 combined! You can't tell me you'd take Masten (as an 18 year old, but knowing he'd have the exact same career he's had up until this moment) ahead of McCarthy, Hill and pick 15 together.
