I'd say Lobb is as good as gone. Still thought Tomlinson would be able to make a better fist of things at another club. Must have received some assurances from GWS.

Disagree. I think he has the makings of a good small forward, and like most, in a better side will be an even better player.

Don't like the way players like him seem to overrate their worth though I agree.

Exactly. He's in their best 22 already (worked his ass off to get best 22) and has held his spot for the last 8 weeks. Why leave when the Giants are building something very special? Will play finals for the next 7-8 years you'd think easy

Depending how far the Giants actually go they might not be able to keep him anyway. There are some bonuses in contracts, particularly Grand Final related.
