Wright is the definition of a fringe player. Doesn't offer much upside but you'd presume he'll get picked up by someone.

Alex Keath has been picked up by the Crows at a category B rookie.

He was one of Gold Coast's initial 17 year old priority picks and also spent time playing cricket for Australia's U19s and Victoria.

If he was a good player with a good attitude they would have made room for him at some stage yeah ?

So as I was saying.. I think ? it was something to do with his attitude rather than his skills that couldn't get him another contract with the Crows.
Yeh possibly. May have also been a $$$ thing or salary cap. Or that kids like Crouch, CEY, Knight and co have just overtaken him

The statement from Adelaide said

http://www.afc.com.au/news/2015-10-28/wright-delisted
Quote“Matthew was very professional during his time at West Lakes and he always put the team’s needs first,” Noble said.

“After starting his career as a rookie he worked hard to get the most out of himself.

“Matthew was a popular member of our playing group and the Club wishes him all the best for the future.”

So not sure if it was attitude.

I went to school with him, it's definitely not to do with attitude!

Matty Wright would be good for some depth at Carlton! He's probably better than Kerridge anyways!

Wright could push for Carltons best and fairest.

Is that a reflection on Wright being good or how bad Carlton is? :P

A little from column A, a little from Column B

Ricochet

From Richmond
Matt Thomas has retired
Gordon and Dea have been delisted

From Carlton
Warnock, Fields, Holman and Walsh(seriously?) have been delisted

Tough break for Blues beanpole Robbie Warnock. Was only offered modest deal mid-year, knocked it back, got injured, now delisted today

Kane Mitchell has been delisted, but Port plans to pick him up again though and put him on the rookie list.

Cats will elevate Michael Luxford to the senior list.

I don't see him slipping to pick 10 in the Rookie draft

Carlton to snatch him up for certain (won't get past the Lions at pick #2)  :P

Definitely the best club mascot

He's a class A comedian haha

He's lucky he's charismatic (apparently he's a laugh) because the club loves him more for his personality than his ability as a footballer. He did win the Sandover medal though so he cannot be a bad player, the question is rather whether he is of AFL standard

dodgy from Essendon too.  they knew of this before demanding pick 5, then a couple hours later - it's released. dodgy. as. flower.
How do you know that we knew this? What's your source? If it somehow made it's way to our club then how did no other club in the competition find out about it?

Although McConville had been in regular contact with Saints list manager Ameet Bains, he did not reveal to Bains before the Carlisle contract was signed that he had been contacted by Channel Nine regarding the Carlisle video.
