Bullies making a big big play for Lobbe apparently

Deadline making it unlikely. Doesn't help that Lobbe is in Vietnam now too
Don't think Port would be interested in anyone on the Bulldogs list.

Maybe Dahlhaus, Macrae, Stringer, or the Bont. (they would need to package two of them for Lobbe alone, or three of them and we'll add Andrew Moore to the deal).
hahahahha yeh maybe...

Hahahaha pls

The Age is reporting that GWS will give Carlton pick 8 for later picks (academy points). Unsure of the full details though
Actually, sounds like the future first rounder they received from Geelong
I just heard that! 8)
Happy Carlton fan here 8)

Menzel for Kerridge + 28 deal done
So pumped with this, absolute steal!

Sad to see the Kedge go though, wish him all the best at Carlton, hopefully does well.

Ricochet

CARâ†" Pick 8 Plowman Lamb Sumner & Phillips
GWS â†" Picks 28, 77, 95 & 2016 1st Rd Pick (Gee)

Money Shot

DONE DEAL: Carlton's Troy Menzel goes to Adelaide for Kerridge and pick 28
DONE DEAL: Carlton's picks 28, 77 & 95 & Geelong's 2016 1st-Rd pick go to GWS for pick No.8, Plowman, Lamb, Phillips & Sumner.

We win that trade in my opinion!

TomK

Carlton done very well in that trade, potentially why they were prepared to accept unders for Menzel.

Yeh i think so as well

Mat0369

I think we got shafted in that trade.

And the 2nd trade looks a lot better.

RaisyDaisy

Pick 95. LOL, why does it even exist? haha

Although we did poorly in the first trade if you look at the bigger picture we now have picks 1, 8, 20, 21 and what ever we have for Yarran as well as Plowman, Sumner, Phillips, Lamb and Kerridge.

We have done well for the first time in a while!

meow meow

Bizarre move from GWS. Traded 4 contracted players (3 former first round picks) for pick 28 and a first round pick downgrade.

Kellogscrunchynut

They really mustn't rate those players.

I think Geelong have to use a few late ones :S Min 3 picks (including rookie elevations), what's their first pick this year?

meow meow

They didn't have to give up pick 8. Just cost themselves a chance to get 3 guns instead of 2.

Weit, Shac, Weid, Francis, Parish, Curnow, Balic could be the top 7, then GWS would have been able to take Milera and could still pick up the academy players with later picks.
