I'm thinking that Gold Coast getting the 2016 first rounder might be their way of having an pick to lock away Brad Scheer through their academy. Pretty sure he's eligible next year. Dude will be a gun.

Apparently Yarran is considering sitting out next year if he doesn't get to Richmond :-[
I personally think 19 is slight overs for Yarran and I would just accept it as Richmond are never going to offer pick 12 for him and rightfully so.

Carlton are starting to become unreasonable in regards to Yarran. They traded Henderson away for about the same amount (probably a little more - a 5/9 chance of a top 10 pick).

Port don't trade out players - Hinkley trades out picks (whether this is effective in the long-term is another question - Paul Roos proved it was, Ross Lyon proved it wasn't), so if we did trade out a player (esp. one as unique as Lobbe) we would want a starting player (I would say Dusty for Lobbe + future first rounder is fair game).

He's our Vice-captain, so pick 12 would be a rip-off
