he could help the hawks. I never said he wouldnt.

I said he isnt the type of guy that turns a non finals team into a finals team.

People say you can do a WB but we started our rebuild way back in 2010 with Libba, Wallis, Dahl and JJ. Add in Koby, Stringer, Macrae and Bont and there you go. It didn't just happen in one year. Port had super talents like Gray, Boak, Hartlett, Wingard on their list. The top end talent was there at both clubs. Saints have gotten what? One superstar in the making in Billings and a bunch of average players (Weller, Membrey, Delaney, Savage, Webster), some spuds (Lee, Acres, Wright) or guys like Longer, Goddard and McCartin who are miles off. Where is the cream? Newnes, Roberton and Bruce were good pick ups but the rest of your list lacks quality.

No that's not what he said. He said he'd be happy to go to the Hawks if they can't get a deal done with Saints. People are taking that as him saying he'll go to Hawks if Saints won't trade pick 5.

I read that as him saying he is still happy to go to STK, but it's obviously up the them now to see if they can give Essendon what they want
