Yeah I rate Colledge, big goal-kicking mid. Would slot into most teams in the bottom 8 imo.

On Lamb, I think he's been a little unlucky. Seems like one of those players who is stuck somewhere between the ressies and AFL. Dominates the NEAFL, struggles at AFL level.

At Carlton I think he'd be decent, can see that working.

And worst case scenario... He finally find a home in the VFL  :P

But in all seriousness, I think he will be a good pick up for Carlton (Lamb & Menzel will make a nice combination up forward)

Money Shot

Casboult and Bell for Aish and pick 21 was talked about on trade radio this morning ...

As a Carlton fan I would not like that unless we get both of Lennon and Walker (Gee) in as we need the tall forwards ...
Lennon would be a good 10 year player for us ... Not so keen on walker but I guess he is young and has some potential...

Toga

Lennon's manager on trade radio said that while there are a number of interested clubs outside of Richmond, his view is that Lennon will still be a Tiger next year.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I don't see Lennon leaving

He's from Melbourne and wants to stay in Melbourne. The only reason I could see him leaving Richmond for another Melbourne based club is $$$. He should be getting regular opportunities next season now that the vest is gone - but that is obviously why he hasn't resigned (lack of playing opportunities - although I think Richmond have done well to give him adequate opportunities considering that they are a top 4 contender)

I don't see that happening - clubs would only be willing to offer him money comparable to what Richmond is paying because so far his only asset is potential (why Nat Freeman will not get a pay raise - and might get a pay deduction in St Kilda)... Hopefully we see more of him next season

Carlisle and 2nd rounder for N5
That 2nd rounder to Pies for Freeman

Saints give up N5 for Carlisle + Freeman

They'll be happy with that

I wouldn't be.... Richo rates N5 pretty highly (Pretty sure he wants Rhys Mathieson) .

If we were to give up a first rounder, it'll be next years.
or maybe something with Seb Ross. He is Jobe's cousin after all

I'm just going for a straight out.

1st Rounder (2016) for Jake Carlilse + 2nd Rounder (2016).

With that 2nd rounder going to Collingwood for Freeman.

Yeh that's not bad. Reckon Essendon might use the 2nd rounder they get for Melksham instead of their 2016 one

Depending on which trade is confirmed first. But I like your thinking with that.

Saints 1st Rounder for Jake Carlisle + Melb 2nd Rounder

Saints list manager Ameet Bains says the club won't be offering pick No.5 for Jake Carlisle. "Very confident" deal will get done though

Makes me even more confident that it'll be next years 1st rounder.

I know the Saints are merely negotiating. But I think they are running a real risk - next years first rounder might be a good deal for the Dons though encase Worsfield pulls them back into the 8 (and the Bombers really do believe they will be a top 8 side next season by the sounds of it).

Is this good enough or does it have to be first confirmed trade on Monday   ;D

Depends if they come to an agreement between Bains and Dodoro.

I wish they'd stop referring him to as a Swingman... He's a defender. Just got forced to play forward haha.

Huh? St Kilda are the ones that will be giving up the pick so Essendon's finishing position isn't relevant haha.
