Jack Redden for me will be early imo.

Where to mate?

The Eagles.
Thought you would have been over that one Ele.  Redden has nominated Eagles as his preferred destination. Think the deal will be done as it is better to get some currency for reddo now rather than next year when he is off contract.

Rumour is we are seeking one of Lycett or Sinclair as part of trade.

I reckon this will be a later trade, not one of the first.
Because I'm pretty sure Sydney want Lycett or Sinclair for Jetta :P haha

I knew he wanted to come to us, but last I heard he was well down on our priority list. Don't need more slow inside mids with below average foot-skills :P

LF

Yeah have heard Redden is low priority for us

+1

Eagles already have Pridda playing the Redden role, and I think by the time Pridda retires Sheed will be significantly better than Redden. Shuey is another inside mid I rate significantly higher than Redden and he also has speed (something a lot of inside mids lack). Don't think the Eagles will give the Lions a ruck for Redden as they can only spare one and they will be trying to negotiate with the Swans (they need a speedy precise outside mid to compliment Gaff - they were outran by the Hawks and Gaff looked to be struggling - had Hill, Rioli, Smith etc. to deal with, the fact he got 34 disposals indicates why he was an All Australian and was always rated so highly. If Gaff gets support from Jetta, the Eagles will go to the next level).

Hutchings is another inside mid they have who shows he's adequate and Masten is capable of playing an inside role (is not a player I would trust with a crucial role though)

What do you think the possibility of a Toumpas for Aaron Young/Andrew Moore trade is?

Port are set to offer the GCS their 2015 & 16 first rounders to lock the deal and apparently Port want Toumpas as well (presumably to play alongside Wingard). Aaron Young and Andrew Moore want to leave and the Power didn't delist Butcher - do you think there's a chance that Hinkley held on to them to trade up to the Demons?

Roos wants a high profile mid and nothing says 'high profile' like Aaron Young or Andrew Moore, plus Butcher is as high profile as you get  :P

Eh, why not. I basically delisted Toumpas in my head mid-way through 2014, so getting something from nothing is a big win.

I was hearing about 3-way trade the other day along the lines of:

Young + third round to St Kilda

Pick 24 from St Kilda to Melbourne

Toumpas to Port Adelaide

Don't know too much about Young & Moore if I'm honest.

If this is true.... Then it looks like we'll probably end up using our first rounder in some way to pick up Carlilse :S
