while it is an interesting discussion point i cant see the swans 1. giving up arguably their most influential player and 2. Convincing JPK he needs to go for the good of the team

Yep pretty much how most would see it Syd.

Swans would take it 10 times out of 10 if they were 10th on the ladder, not in premiership contention. Can't blame Paul Roos for trying though.

Big Mac

I want it to be true. Won't be getting my hopes up though.

kilbluff1985

that JPK rumour was started on facebook by

AFL News and Trade Rumors

it's just a troll page they talk so much shower

Big Mac

The rumours been on demonland since Monday - A fair few people staking their reputations on it although I know it probably means nothing

ADEZ

Yeah I doubt it's credibility but it is undoubtedly gaining legs

Purple 77

The Demonland people are hilarious. They are so vicious haha.

But I wouldn't listen to anything that first comes from Demonland  ;)

I love how one suggests to only give pick 3 "because he's already 26"

Apparently Pies will sign off on Beams Deal this morning.  It was not a stand alone deal and involved other clubs as well.

Deal as reported in numerous sources:
Brisbane Receive Beams and pick 67
Collingwood Receive Picks 5, Jack Crisp, Levi Greenwood from North Melbourne and Travis Varcoe from Geelong
Geelong receive Mitch Clark
Melbourne receive Heritier Lumumba from Collingwood
North Melbourne receive Pick 25

So a lot of mooted trades tied up with this one expected to be finalised today.

Port has offered players to Ess as part of Ryder deal but each has been knocked back. Dons only want Wingard/Wines/Harlett/Impey. #AFLTrades

Jaksch and Wiley deal to Carlton about to be done

Jroo

So, looks like the big 5-way trade for Beams may be done soon.
Same with Jacksch and Whiley to the Blues.
