Ryder wanted to leave the club but still wanted to try and work out a fair deal in return. Doddoro has come out with a extremely laughable trade option as he still thinks Ryder will stay. I would not be surprised if Ryder saw this as an insult and walked out to enter the PSD and leave Essendon with nothing

I don't think the Lions would do that. Beams is good, yes, but they're not going to move some of their best players to Collingwood to get him, especially considering he has already said he wants to move up to Queensland.
