Essendon are remaining defiant and has said it will not trade Patrick Ryder for a lesser pick or player, potentially forcing Ryder to the courts to break his contract.
The Ryder camp is adamant a pick around Brisbane

"The Ryder camp is adamant a pick around Brisbane's second-round selection (about No.25 after compensation picks) is fair in the circumstances. Port Adelaide's first pick is about No.15 (including compensation picks)."

Dreaming if they think they can get this:

"Privately, the club has said it would only consider a trade deal if rivals are prepared to trade a top-five pick or player of the calibre of Port star Ollie Wines or Brisbane's Pearce Hanley."

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

So they've got a player who WANTS to leave and could potentially walk for FREE

But they'll only bargain for a player or pick worth 2x his value? wtf

Who has been running Essendon the past couple of years?  :o sounds like Charlie Sheen and Kermit the frog to me

The Bombers have met with Victorian-bound swingman Kristian Jaksch who could be included in a deal that may see Ryder head to the Giants should it be his destination of choice.

The Brisbane Lions are hopeful that they will know Patrick Ryder's intentions before the weekend is out.

He has met with Brisbane, Port Adelaide and GWS, however it is understood the Bombers are more inclined to deal with the Giants, such is the quality of the kids wanting to return back to Victoria.

Patrick Dangerfield says it is completely in the hands of the club as to whether his name is raised as a trade option.

The 24-year-old Victorian will qualify for free agency at the end of 2015, and a trade this off-season would ensure the Crows get appropriate value for their superstar.

In the past 24 hours, he has been strongly linked with a move to the Melbourne Football Club, for what could include Melbourne's Frawley compensation pick, and one of Jimmy Toumpas or Jack Trengove.

Here, as in the forum, or here, as in life? Because if you live in a non-nsw state, everyone thought COLA was ridiculous and was exploited and aren't gonna be happy with the swans because of it...

Geelong have been linked to the Western Bulldogs Will Minson and Hawthorn's Luke Lowden according to Jay Clark and SEN.

Toga

Both would be very good fits at Geelong, they need a ruck that can stay fit to really compete with teams like Sydney and Hawthorn.

Agree mate. Also reports TMitchell will stay at Sydney now

I imagine the Dogs will make a play for Giles though.
