West Coast have thrown their hat into the ring, to lure home WA native, and current disgruntled Magpie, Heritier Lumumba. It is understood that Lumumba will return from Perth later next week, where he will hold a meeting with Collingwood and inform the club of his decision.

Melbourne also believe they will snare the 199-gamer, with Lumumba settled in Melbourne.

Either way, Lumumba will link up with a former premiership teammate - Sharrod Wellingham at the Eagles or Chris Dawes at the Dees.
