Couple of strong rumours from up North for you

Sauce Merrett defintely off the trade table.

Berger may be trade bait if Brisbane land Ryder - Could be part of deal with pies to get Dayne Beams.

Suns are chasing Hawks midfielder Mitch Hallahan and Swans Nick Malceski but will not commence discussions until after finals.

Think we made a mistake losing Ebert...need one more tough in and under player and a veteran in the backline to add some experience.  I heard a while back we might go after Malceski as his wife is from WA.  I'm not too fussed about picking up a big name, we do draft players pretty well, but some guys to give us a bit more leadership would be nice.

Would probably like an A Grade midfielder for when Mitchell, Hodge, Burgoyne go I guess. Which is why its weird to hear something involving Hallahan going.

We could definitely do with a key defender which is why Hawthorn have been mentioned in regards to Frawley and another quality mid certainly wouldn't go astray.
