Off Season Trade Rumours

The Brisbane Lions have informed Michael Close, Claye Beams, Cian Hanley, Reuben William and Matthew Hammelmann that they will not be offered a playing contract in 2018.
Close and to a lesser extent Beams surprises me. Others to be expected.

We must have some sound drafting plans either National or PSD Drafts.  We have traded/de-listed 12 but from statements Hanley will be re-rookied.
Hanley, Hammelman and William were rookies. Barrett is also on rookie list but suspect he will be upgraded.
We hold picks 1, 15, 18, 40, 44, 52 and 93.

Would love to see Hartung at the eagles.   Brings a smile to my dial.     Reckon Sam Mitchell could play for eagles for another 10yrs and still be better than hartung will be.    Another "headless chook" or "deer in the headlights" at new Perth Stadium is priceless... ;D ;D
